Dr. John O’Brien completed his undergraduate education at SUNY Albany and Marist College. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Buffalo. Prior to co-founding Sitwell Dental in 2018, Dr OBrien spent much of the prior decade providing high end dental care at a prestigious organization in Wisconsin, the Marshfield Clinic. At the Marshfield Clinic, Dr. O’Brien served as Dental Director for 5 years and ensured that quality and affordable care was delivered to over 60,000 patients per year while overseeing 10 dental offices with over 50 Dentists and many Oral Surgeons. Additionally, Dr. O’Brien mentored 4th year dental students from A.T. Still University, Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health, helping them advance and fine tune their skills in procedures such as root canals, crowns, and implant surgery.

Dr. John O’Brien is married to Dr. Tiffany O’Brien and they have 2 young children.  While out of the office, Dr. O’Brien enjoys spending time with his family and teaching his sons how to play sports.  Dr. O’Brien prides himself on delivering the highest quality, yet affordable care, including the latest options for conservative implant surgery and aesthetic restorations.

Dr. O’Brien is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Tiffany O’Brien completed her undergraduate education at the New York Institute of Technology.  She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Buffalo and further advanced her education by completing a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Northport, NY. Prior to co-founding Sitwell Dental in 2018, Dr. O’Brien has spent much of the last decade providing high end dental care at a prestigious organization in Wisconsin, the Marshfield Clinic.  While at the Marshfield Clinic, in additional to providing patient care, Dr. O’Brien successfully started an Advanced Education of General Dentistry program where she oversaw all aspects of a dental residency program while serving as the Residency Director.  Additionally, Dr. O’Brien served as Adjunct Faculty for A.T. Still University, Missouri School of Dental & Oral Health, where she oversaw 4^th year dental students, teaching them advanced skills in all aspects of dentistry including implant planning, placement and restoration.
Dr. Tiffany O’Brien is married to Dr. John O’Brien and they have 2 young children. While out of the office, Dr. O’Brien enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities. Dr. O’Brien prides herself on delivering the highest quality, yet affordable care, including the latest options for conservative implant surgery and aesthetic restoration. Additionally, she has created a protocol for full arch tooth replacement that she calls the “Sitwell 6”. The Sitwell 6 uses the most advanced implant technology and implant components to provide the most beautiful & most natural feeling full arch dental implant restoration while also allowing patients to leave the day of surgery with a beautiful new smile. 

Dr. Albana Cami graduated Brooklyn College with Honors where she studied Biology.  She then continued her education at Stony Brook University where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and received an award from the Academy of General Dentistry, honoring her for the highest knowledge and proficiency in General Dentistry.  Eager to fine tune her skills, Dr. Cami then further advanced her education by completing a General Practice Residency at Northport Veterans Hospital in Northport, NY. There, she learned advanced skills in complex restorative care, including full mouth rehabilitation with dental implants.  Dr. Cami then worked along side Dr’s John and Tiffany O’Brien at the prestigious Marshfield Clinic where she treated a wide variety of patients for nearly seven years, while also teaching advanced skills to dental students and dental residents.  Dr. Cami was then heavily recruited to join Dr.’s John and Tiffany O’Brien at their growing practice, Sitwell Dental.  Dr. Cami looks forward to offering her high quality service within the relaxing environment created at Sitwell Dental. Dr. Cami is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association as well as the local chapter in Saratoga County. She is often attending dental conferences, continuously expanding her knowledge to improve patient care.   Dr. Cami is fluent in Albanian and understands some Spanish and Italian.  When not practicing dentistry Dr. Cami, enjoys spending quality time with her husband and 2 children. Volunteering, traveling, exploring the outdoors and entertaining guests are some of her hobbies.

Dr. Justin Karrel is 2010 graduate of Boston University Dental School. He completed a General Practice Residency in Bangor, Maine where he received additional training in endodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. Following his residency, Dr. Karrel was asked to continue at the large public health facility. While treating patients as a staff dentist, Dr. Karrel served as a mentor to classes of residents, and as a preceptor of dental students on clinical rotations from Tufts University, University of North Carolina, and Boston University.

After 5 years in Maine, Dr. Karrel moved into a private practice office in Virginia. He owned a ran a private practice office focused on comprehensive dental care. His practice was focused on using treatments like Invisalign and implants to return patients’ oral health to proper form and function. After 8 years, Dr. Karrel (a native of Massachusetts) sold his practice to return to the Northeast to raise his children with his wife Ruth.

One of Dr. Karrel’s goals is to provide individualized, patient-centered care of the highest quality. He is always striving to be better and is constantly learning to provide comfortable, quality, modern care to his patients. Dr. Karrel is working toward his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. He has taken continuing education with the Las Vegas Institute and the Spear Institute. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and American Dental Association.

Dr. Chang grew up in Vancouver, Canada where she obtained her Bachelor of Science at University of British Columbia in Microbiology and Immunology. She knew she wanted a career in healthcare after early influences from her father, an E.R physician, and her childhood dentist, who soon became her role model and mentor.  Dr. Chang received her DDS degree from NYU College of Dentistry where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. Following graduation, she completed a year of general practice residency at Flushing Hospital in Queens and an additional year of advanced training in restorative implant dentistry at the prestigious Cetennial clinic at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Chang is passionate and committed to providing quality dentistry to her patients. She has enjoyed serving the Capital Region community since her relocation to Upstate NY. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys practicing yoga, cooking, hiking, and watching documentaries
